This is our 4th episode in this 4 part series. Hearing from other Christian working moms have been so amazing! I have really loved hearing what God has done in their lives and I think it gives so much hope for whatever we are facing in our lives. In our final episode in this series, we hear from Julie as she shares about her battle with depression over a two-year span. I know this episode will bless you!
About our guest
Julie is passionate about God’s Fierce Love and wants to penetrate the hearts of women to bring freedom. She had the privilege of working in the music industry for 15+ years helping manage, develop, mentor and encourage Christian singers. After going through a season of extreme fear, depression, and anxiety in 2014, she had a radical encounter with the love of God in 2015 that healed and changed her completely. Julie is a strong advocate for inner healing and bringing revelation and truth to women by teaching them that their spiritual authority and identity is in Christ and not what they’re doing. She is passionate about equipping, empowering and releasing women to fulfill their destiny. She started a FaceBook group called Fierce Princess Warriors in 2015, founded Convergent Promotions in August of 2016 and most recently she partnered with a licensed child and family therapist to bring a faith-based creative arts mental health resource center for children/teens into the community called Elrod. She is also involved in local organizations such as Miss Lane County Scholarship Organization and Hope Ranch Ministries Julie lives in Junction City, OR with her husband Wayne of 13 years and her beautiful little girl Audrey Joy.

Tips and action items shared on the show
Seek and you shall find. At the beginning it may feel like nothing can change and there is no hope. Give yourself grace about your starting point and just start with opening yourself to the possibility that there are solutions and that one day you could be someone with great faith. After all, Jesus said He will grow your mustard seed of faith.
Be prepared for a mental battle because this will take you out of your comfort zone.
When discouraged, remember what you have to lose if you do not attempt to fight this battle. There are consequences of both action and inaction.
Study the book “Battlefield of the Mind” by Joyce Meyer. Literally write out the verses, consider the context around them, write out observations about what you read and how it can apply to your life and prayer over what you are learning.
When you find verses that speak to you, write them on a note card and put them in a box so you always have verses on hand ready to pull out and memorize.
Develop the habit of a consistent morning routine that includes a lot of prayer, scripture and writing in your journal.
