We are fully redeemed through Jesus, but even today there are sacrificial offerings we can give to the Lord out of love.  As working moms, we often feel deeply the things we sacrifice and might feel a little negative about the word sacrifice.  But when we do this for God, it really is love.  This is a practical look at what the Bible calls us to do.

What does a modern sacrifice look like?

Tips From The Show

We often talk about balance coming when you put God first in your life.  How do you do that?  One very practical way is through sacrifice.  I’m not talking about sacrifice for redemption but sacrifice out of love.

  • Sacrifice of Praise and thanks
    • Hebrews 13:15
    • Psalm 50:14
    • Jonah 2:9
  • Sacrifice of Glory (working for God and not ourselves)
    • Philippians 2:17
  • Sacrifice of our desires (having restraint and self-control)
    • Romans 12:1
