Ready to be refreshed? Over the next 7 week’s I’ll guide you through a weekly focus both on the podcast and in the app designed to reenergize, provide focus, and clarity to the priorities in your life. Because it’s summer, it’s all about having fun!
As a mom, don’t you love watching your kids be kids? It’s one of my favorite things about summer. Childhood is so awesome and it’s gone way to fast. But watching and taking in their joy over the little things and finding fun in the simple things like swimming in a lake or jumping through a sprinkler, or sleeping in a tent.
Watch your kids and think about how they are just fully living life. They don’t care if they have gunk on their faces or if the house isn’t perfect, they just find joy. They dance like no one is watching, and sometimes dress that way too. If the clothes feel good, they want to wear them. Or if it’s what they like.
Do you remember doing the same thing when you were little? What things did you do that brought you joy? Today, we are revisiting those childhood joys and giving ourselves permission to reconnect with it. Now, you might not walk around with a milk mustache and your lunch all over your face without a care in the world, but hopefully, you will find even just one thing to reintroduce to your life to spark Joy.
